Punch Employee is a community-driven logistics platform that connects employees to share delivery and pickup tasks along their everyday routes. The app empowers users to help each other while earning rewards, simplifying how items move across the city.
Managing item pickups and deliveries within a local community can be inefficient and stressful. Employees often miss opportunities to collaborate on errands during their daily commutes, resulting in wasted resources, time, and effort. There was a need for a platform that streamlined this process while fostering a sense of community

Punch Employee app addresses these challenges by creating a peer-to-peer logistics network. It allows users to, plan routes and share delivery availability, search and book delivery routes created by others, set delivery costs or earn coins as rewards, connect with a network of employees working or living in the same area. The app combines functionality, simplicity, and rewards to build a helpful and connected community.

After properly understanding the brief and the problem to be solved, I went through the following phases; conducting user research, designing the app’s interface, creating prototypes, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

The app’s primary screens – Home, Search, Notifications, and Settings – ensure smooth navigation. The Home Screen centralizes live routes, quick actions, and earnings updates, while Search allows users to filter routes by location, time, and preferences. Notifications deliver real-time updates on bookings and alerts, while Settings offers customization for profiles, payments, and privacy.

Users can create routes by specifying destinations, availability, and delivery preferences, with options for voluntary or paid services. Available routes can be explored via list or map views, with clear details on cost, timing, and compatibility, enabling easy bookings.

The Wallet Screen tracks earnings, transaction history, and withdrawals, ensuring financial transparency. The Rewards Screen gamifies participation, allowing users to earn and redeem coins for perks, with a progress tracker encouraging engagement

Real-time tracking keeps users updated on active routes with interactive maps and notifications for milestones like “Package Picked Up” and “Delivery Completed.” In-app messaging ensures seamless coordination with delivery partners.

The Community section connects users through a coworker network, chat functionality, and detailed profiles. Users can view mutual coworkers, communicate via direct or group messages, and explore delivery stats and connections, fostering trust and collaboration.

The Punch Employee app design bridges the gap between logistics and community engagement. By simplifying item delivery and incentivizing participation, the app transforms daily commutes into meaningful connections and opportunities to give back.
pThis project reinforced my ability to combine research, creativity, and user-focused design to deliver impactful solutions. It’s a reminder of how thoughtful design can solve real-world problems and create a sense of belonging.
